How PGT Products Fail - and How We Fix Them

We replace the bead with a high-quality aftermarket profile that matches the original dimensions and color, then re-seal with a primerless silicone that doesn’t break down in our heat the way cheaper caulks do.
• Failed argon gas retention on PGT Eze-Breeze and 7700 units that were installed before 2012. Even a pinhole gap in the seal can vent the argon over a couple of hot seasons. Once the argon is gone, the window’s R-value drops noticeably, and you’ll feel the heat radiating through the glass even with the AC running. The honest fix is a new sealed unit. There’s no refilling argon in a failed unit and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something that won’t last.
